Juliet Howard is an herbalist, mother, musician, medicine-maker, and lover of all things wild. 

     Her relationship to plant magic began at a very early age living on the wild cliffs of the Oregon coast. Her approach to herbalism comes from a deep reverence for plants and she believes wholeheartedly that plants are a powerful portal into the magic and wonder of being alive and embodied.

     She will be sharing her debut children's book, The Girl Whose Garden Comes Alive. 

This beautifully illustrated chapter book introduces children to the magical and medicinal plants that live in many of our backyards.

     Through the main character and her many adventures, children will learn about plants to reach for and connect with when they get a bee sting, scrape their knee, or feel anxious. This book introduces a series of plants, along with plant recipes and preparations, and mindful ways for children to begin to connect with plants.
