Time, Energy, Focus! These are gifts I received in retirement and now there doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day to play with art! I am a mixed media collage artist with side hustles creating Beaded Wire Sculptures.

I was recently asked if collage isn’t just gluing pieces of paper together. No. As with any other medium, collage involves composition, color theory, balance, cohesiveness and telling a story, and I enjoy the challenge of making this all come together.

I have a degree in Photojournalism, worked in that field for a number of years and then began collaging 20 years ago as an antidote to grief that came with a family death.
