Jean Lawrence was born in London, UK. She moved to Hong Kong where she studied Chinese ink

 painting. Some years later she became interested in painting on silk. At first she painted scarves

 but now includes wall hangings. Jean participates in art fairs around the North West and sells her

 work in galleries. She has participated in POST several times.
