Matt is a self-taught blown glass and fine metal jewelry artist from southern California who is completing an MS in Food Science at OSU.  Beginning glass work at the age of 14, and now with nearly a decade of experience, his art embraces organic forms and simplicity above all else.  His blown glass portfolio includes all types of glass craft, from vibrant jewelry beads to textured glass sculptures that throw light across a room.  Each piece of jewelry is a unique keepsake meant to be enjoyed through everyday wear.  Matt’s artwork has led to several diverse opportunities.  He has volunteered with after school glassblowing programs and has interned with glassblowers in southern France. He is very excited to be taking part in NOST.
