Spencer Dixon creates functional ceramics out of high fire porcelain and stoneware. All of the work is fired in atmospheric kilns, wood, salt and soda kilns. This style of firing produces a glaze on the exterior of the pots produced entirely by the atmosphere of each individual kiln. The pieces are lined with a glaze to insure food safety and water tightness. The results of these ancient firing techniques are not easily replicated. Each piece is truly one of a kind. All the work is food safe as well as microwave and dishwasher safe. Enjoy!
